Farewell Afternoon Tea for Donna Walker

Headway Clean Sweep

Headway Gippsland artists have taken out the top 3 prizes in the Ärtist with a Disability section at the Rotary Club of Korumburra 40th Annual Art Show,held on the 11th and 12th February 2017 at the Federation Art Gallery in Korumburra.  The art show opening waws officiated by Mayor of South Gippsland Shire Council Ray Argento and exhibited 240 pieces. Brain Injury Awareness Week

As part of BIA Week 15-21 August 2016 the Wonthaggi Social Support participants displayed their art work at the local library. The exhibition was officially opened by the mayor of the Bass Coast Shire and was achieved with the support of Bass Coast Shire community grants program. Pictures were also displayed in shop front windows by the business owners in Wonthaggi as a community awareness program. Headway Gippsland's newest volunteer ; Janet De Corrado has written an article for volunteer week which we advertised in the Express and the Warragul Gazette feature. I have been volunteering with Headway Gippsland for 6 months. I work with the Warragul Social Support Program, we meet up every Friday. The activities enjoyed by the group are many and varied. Donation to Headway

The Board of Management of Headway Gippsland Inc would like to thank members of the Trafalgar Charity Fund who recently donated $1000.00 so that an updated TV could be purchased for the Trafalgar Social Support Group.  This was necessary as the old television did not have enough input plugs to enable the group to utilize the Wii Fit Games.
