Lesson Two
Objective:
Students will understand the basic process of photosynthesis, identify its key components, and explain its importance to life on Earth.
Materials Needed:
- Whiteboard and markers
- Projector or smartboard
- Photosynthesis diagram handouts
- Leaf samples
- Internet-enabled devices (optional)
Introduction (10 minutes):
- Begin with a question: “What do plants need to survive?”
- Discuss students’ responses and lead into the concept of photosynthesis.
- Show a short video explaining photosynthesis (3-5 minutes).
