Support Coordination is a service designed to help you understand your NDIS plan and connect with the right supports to achieve your goals. At Headway Gippsland, our experienced Support Coordinators know the NDIS system and can guide you every step of the way.
Our Support Coordination service has been supporting people in Gippsland since the very beginning of the NDIS, and we’re proud to be a trusted, local provider.
There are 3 Levels of Support Coordination
We offer Level 2 only at this point in time.
Level 1 - Support Connection
This is short-term help to put your NDIS plan into action.
It includes finding service providers and setting up service agreements.
Level 2 - Support Coordination
We offer this level of support coordination.
It is longer-term support to build your capacity. It will help you navigate the complexity of services and supports you need from a range of providers.
Level 3 - Specialist Support Coordination
This is for specialist support, where you have a more complex situation.
How Support Coordination Can Help
With the support of a Headway Support Coordinator, you can:
- Find the right supports
We help you connect with trusted service providers that align with your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
- Understand your plan and budget
We explain your NDIS plan in plain language, help you manage your funding, and support you to stay on track with your budget.
- Track your progress
We monitor outcomes, support you to work towards your goals, and keep the NDIA informed of your progress when required.
Support with the Tricky Stuff
We can also assist you with:
- Understanding service agreements
- Getting your supports set up and running
- Helping you with any NDIS-related issues
- Completing reports for the NDIA
- Assisting preparation for NDIS plan reviews

Funding for Support Coordination
Support Coordination is funded through your NDIS Capacity Building – Support Coordination budget.
Your Support Coordinator’s services are claimed directly from this budget.
