Headway Gippsland Inc.

Headway provides five social support groups across Gippsland. The members catch up once a week, learn new skills and get out and about in the community.

Our social support groups are fun and interactive. Your needs and wishes are important to us as they reflect the ideas that collectively the groups like to participate in.

You can use your NDIS plan to purchase a spot in these programs. If you check out our newsletter you can see the fun things that our groups get up to.

If you are interested, please contact our Newborough office on 5127 7166. We welcome new participants from all backgrounds. Our programs are supported by well-trained staff and volunteers.

We offer a service in most LGAs and if you think you have a need that is not being met, we would like to hear from you. Headway is keen to develop and deliver services that you feel are necessary as part of your NDIS plan.

As you might appreciate, what the support groups are able to do at the moment is dependent on government COVID-19 restrictions. We have specific updates on coronavirus here.

Some happy snaps from our social support groups:

We pay our respects to the traditional custodians, their elders and ancestors of the lands, which our organisation sits. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and welcome you to our service. Headway Gippsland is committed to treating all people with dignity and respect.
