Nicky Levey

Support Coordination Manager

Nicky Levey joined Headway in 2016 with a strong love for the disability field and the opportunities it gives to the people it supports.

Nearly 30 years in the disability sector has given her broad knowledge of the service system. She studied a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Management.

“I love being able to see the light go on in people’s eyes when they finally have the chance to have supports or services put in place that enable them more independence, or allow them to experience things in life they haven’t previously been able to.”

Nicky loves spending time with her family and the animals on her hobby farm and enjoys writing blogs.

Lisa Kuhne

Senior Support Coordinator

Lisa Kuhne came to Headway in 2018, with a desire to help people with disability live their best life.

She has worked 25 years in the disability sector across a range of roles including in shared supported accommodation, one-to-one support, employment, housing and education.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies), an Advanced Diploma of Disability and a Graduate Diploma of Tertiary Teaching.

She lives on a dairy farm in South Gippsland with her husband and daughter, enjoys going to the beach, live theatre and music.

Cheryl Dunn

Support Coordinator

Cheryl is passionate about making strong connections within the community, searching for the best supports that align with an individual’s desirable and achievable goals, whilst empowering clients and their families. This is what drew her back to the Disability Sector as a Support Coordinator with Headway.

Cheryl has a Diploma of Applied Science in Intellectual Disabilities as well as a Diploma in Community Health. With thirty plus years’ experience working across a range of settings including nursing, child care, shared supported accommodation, aged care, and numerous customer service roles, she is extremely client-focused.

“I enjoy country life, residing in a small town in Gippsland, yet I am also drawn to the coastline and will visit Ninety Mile Beach at any opportunity. I am an avid reader, amateur photographer and love playing Words with Friends.”

Shaylah Pitt

Support Coordinator

Shay has worked in customer service for more than 20 years and also Administration/Kitchen and PCA in the Aged Care Setting.

Shay has completed her Cert III in Individual Support and a Chef's Apprenticeship. Shay is new to the support coordination role but loving every minute of it and making a difference in someone’s life. Shay has a passion for helping people and helping them to live life to their fullest potentional.

Shay is married to her partner of 16 years with two teenage boys and one very spoilt blue staffy, Rubi. Shay has lived in Drouin most of her life with a few early years in Corowa, NSW. Shay enjoys time with her family, cooking, spending time with friends, exploring Australia, camping and the Murray River.

Vannessa Estigarribia

Support Coordinator

Vannessa Estigarribia joined Headway in 2019, adding to a long career in the disability sector.

She has 15 years’ experience in one-to-one support and 13 years in management positions. Vannessa has an Advanced Diploma Disability and Community Services, Cert IV in Business Management (Disability Work) and Cert IV in Disability and Community Services.

“I like to make a difference in people’s lives. When I see a smile on their face, it puts a smile on mine.”

In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing and photography, and loves to spend time with her family and granddaughter.

Tiana Arnold

Support Coordination

Assistant

Tiana joined Headway in 2023 as a receptionist before moving across to the Support Coordination team.

Tiana is new to the disability sector and comes from a background of Supermarket management and voluntary work at a local charity.

Tiana has a passion for administration and her goal is to upgrade all administration functions across the support coordination team so they can spend more time with the people who matter – our participants.

Tiana’s role involves regular check ins with participants and liaising with providers to find the best fit for our participants. She is a firm believer in choice and control and believes no situation is a one shoe fits all.

Outside of work Tiana is passionate about cosplay and esports, and loves attending conventions in Melbourne.

Megan Mathisen

Support Coordinator

Megan Mathisen is a determined Support Coordinator who started with us mid-2022.

“I believe we all should be living our best lives and I am passionate about helping people to achieve that. I listen, I am determined and rarely take no for an answer.”

Megan is a skilled communicator after a diverse customer service career and has a Certificate in Mental Health First Aid.

As a mother to a son with Autism, Megan knows what it’s like spending years researching therapists and specialists to assist him.

Outside of work, her two kids keep her busy. She loves horse riding, camping and spending time around water – rivers, lakes and beaches.
