Nicky Levey

Support Coordination Manager

Nicky Levey joined Headway in 2016 with a strong love for the disability field and the opportunities it gives to the people it supports.
Nearly 30 years in the disability sector has given her broad knowledge of the service system. She studied a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Management.
“I love being able to see the light go on in people’s eyes when they finally have the chance to have supports or services put in place that enable them more independence, or allow them to experience things in life they haven’t previously been able to.”
Nicky loves spending time with her family and the animals on her hobby farm and enjoys writing blogs.

Lisa Kuhne

Senior Support Coordinator

Lisa Kuhne came to Headway in 2018, with a desire to help people with disability live their best life.
She has worked 25 years in the disability sector across a range of roles including in shared supported accommodation, one-to-one support, employment, housing and education.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies), an Advanced Diploma of Disability and a Graduate Diploma of Tertiary Teaching.
She lives on a dairy farm in South Gippsland with her husband and daughter, enjoys going to the beach, live theatre and music.

Jodie Creed

Support Coordinator

Jodie Creed joined Headway in 2019 and previously coordinated the East Gippsland social support program where she loved to make participants’ ideas happen.
She has a range of qualifications, including a Cert IV in Disability and has gained diverse experience in other roles such as in home and community support and at a respite unit for people with disability.
“I really do enjoy advocating for vulnerable people, encouraging them to be the best they can be and share in the feeling of accomplishment they feel, no matter how big or small the task.”
Jodie enjoys catching up with friends and family, reading, watching movies and bushwalking.

Vannessa Estigarribia

Support Coordinator

Vannessa Estigarribia joined Headway in 2019, adding to a long career in the disability sector.
She has 15 years’ experience in one-to-one support and 13 years in management positions. Vannessa has an Advanced Diploma Disability and Community Services, Cert IV in Business Management (Disability Work) and Cert IV in Disability and Community Services.
“I like to make a difference in people’s lives. When I see a smile on their face, it puts a smile on mine.”
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing and photography, and loves to spend time with her family and granddaughter.

Linda McDill

Support Coordinator

Linda McDill has a career in disability and aged care spanning 30 years and is a keen listener, advocate and likes to “get the job done”.
Linda returns to Headway Gippsland after working for us about 15 years ago.
She has a wealth of experience to draw on when helping people live an independent, social and healthy lifestyle in their home and community.
Linda operates with respect, dignity and compassion, and has supported people at the end of their life.
“There is no greater wish to see the value in supporting people to achieve their dreams at all phases of their life.”
Linda loves spending time with her family, knitting and music.

Leonie Bartlett

Support Coordinator

Leonie has come to Headway Gippsland as a strong believer in participants having choice and control over everything they do.
“I am passionate about participants having a voice, a voice on the care they need and their rights to be heard.”
She has a thorough understanding of the sector, having worked more than 20 years as a support worker.
She has also supported those in crisis by taking calls at Lifeline Gippsland.
Leonie loves spending time with her big extended family – it makes for noisy get-togethers!
And on weekends, she likes to take her Harley-Davidson out for a ride.

Megan Mathisen

Support Coordinator

Megan Mathisen is a determined Support Coordinator who started with us mid-2022.
“I believe we all should be living our best lives and I am passionate about helping people to achieve that.
“I listen, I am determined and rarely take no for an answer.”
Megan is a skilled communicator after a diverse customer service career and has a Certificate in Mental Health First Aid.
As a mother to a son with Autism, Megan knows what it’s like spending years researching therapists and specialists to assist him.
Outside of work, her two kids keep her busy. She loves horse riding, camping and spending time around water – rivers, lakes and beaches.
