Staying Active with Chair Zumba in Morwell
Our Latrobe Valley Ventures group recently kicked off their day with an energising session of Chair Zumba at the Moe Community Hub. Staying active is an important part of physical and mental wellbeing, and adaptive programs like Chair Zumba make exercise accessible and inclusive for people of all abilities.
As part of our NDIS Social Support Groups in Gippsland, participants enjoy structured activities that promote movement, confidence, and community engagement.
More Than Just Exercise
After the session, participants enjoyed coffee, magnet chess, and a relaxed walk for lunch and shopping. These everyday community activities are what make disability services in Morwell meaningful — they foster friendship, independence, and shared experiences.
For participants also receiving Support Coordination or Plan Management, social groups are often a valuable part of achieving NDIS goals around social participation and community access.
